Water at bottom of ac unit

Was cleaning up my small window unit up when I saw some water at the front bottom of the unit. Looked pretty close to spilling out, but I havenít noticed any leaking on the inside.

Is it normal for water to be in this area?

Its condensate from the coils.

Clean those coils, dirty coils loose efficiency, might even find a drain plugged up!

Welcome to the forums.

Agreed !
The unit should be pitched slightly downwards towards the outside so that water drains away from where it is now. If the drain is plugged..... the water cannot drain.
