Hi All, So, I returned from an overseas trip (I was gone about 3 weeks). Upon returning home, the AC wasn't working. I asked the person house sitting how long it had been out, and they said maybe a day...not enough for them to notice, but by the time I got home, the house was over 80 degrees. I checked the thermostat and it's functioning. I reset it for good measure. I went downstairs an saw that the circuit breaker had tripped for the AC. I reset it, and the AC fan turned on, but no cold air. When looking at the AC, I noticed that with all the rain/storms while I had been gone, weeds had completely surrounded it, so I weeded, and cleaned all the coils and replaced the HVAC filter. Reset the entire system, and while the air flow is much better, still no cold air. The pipe coming from the unit to the system in the house that would usually be cold is not cold, and I can hear something attempt to start (the cooling system presumably, but it won't stay on). The pipe shudders for a moment and and then only the fan remains turning. I can hear it try and try and try, but not stick. Wha't s happening? Is it my compressor? Or, is it electrical? I haven't seen any signs of leaking anywhere. Thanks in advance. Sam
