I have a 16 years old outdoor Trane HVAC not providing cold air. I replaced both the Capacitor and the Contactor and still no cold air coming out from the vents. Any suggestions before I call the technician??? Thanks

You usually can't miss the sound of the compressor and it makes it's own rumble. If it's running..... the larger insulated copper refrigerant line will be ice cold.

It could be a defective compressor or compressor wiring. I don't consider working on the compressor wiring a DIY project. Great care needs to be taken working around a suspect compressor.
