Continuous HVAC troubles
Good afternoon all... Currently it is 86 in my home with an outside temp of 89 (feels like 91) my outside unit will run for a few (15-45) then stop, then the fan will continuously run thereafter (pushing out ambient air, NOT cool), then about an hour later the outside unit kicks back on and blows cool air for (15-45) then then process repeats...
Please LORD, someone help me to understand and resolve this issue. I do not do well at an indoor temp of 86. By the way, this process will continue ALL day and NEVER achieve the desired temp of 68... I keep getting told by the service company that the system is operating "fine". I find this hard to believe, can someone please help me help them fix this issue?
Thank you in advance for all your feedback and assistance.

Sounds like it’s locking out on something, either high or low pressure safety maybe.
I would highly suggest another service company.

If I to hazard a guess.... I'd say your outside fan in the condenser is failing and the compressor is shutting down on overload/high heat. This can be very damaging to a compressor if allowed to continue.
