Hello, I have a ductless/wall-mounted ac unit. It was working without any problems until today (for cooling). First I noticed that it stopped working a couple of times and I thought it was because it reached the target temperature. As the room got hotter, I turned it off and on and it started working normally again with cold air coming out but after a few minutes it stopped. After a few turn offs/ons now it won't work at all. The ac turns on but the blowers don't work. Nothing is happening inside or outside. But, the few times that it did start working again for 5min, it was producing normal amounts of cold air without any signs of struggling and then it would simply stop (not turn off, just stops blowing air). I tried changing the mode, temperature and fan speeds on the remote with no effect. Also, there is no strange noise or anything else coming out of the outside unit. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Noticed the air didn't feel cool from the vents. Went outside and saw that the condenser fan was not spinning. Two questions: I took a stick and pushed the blades... they would spin freely, and would spin very slowly on their own, but never full speed. Turned unit off, and back on... they started spinning on their own about medium speed, then started barely spinning, and would stop or maybe creep along intermittently. #1 - Is this solid evidence that the fan motor needs replaced, as opposed to the capacitor? I put a shop fan on top, and have the A/C unit running. It is cooling very well inside the house with this method. The condenser blades are either stopped, or may intermittently spin very slowly. #2 -If I run the unit in this condition over the next few days, just to keep the air around 80, will it harm the compressor/capacitor/fan circuitry, if the fan blades are barely turning, or not turning?
