Help with bad compressor in Payne packaged unit
Ok thanks I will post some pictures tomorrow.I have another question if you can help me on this.
I have a mobile home with a 5 ton package unit that the compressor quick and don't work anymore.Right now I can afford to buy a new one and I will like to try to fix if you think that is worth to change the compressor. I know that a compressor can run for about $1000 and up.the unit is a Payne 5 ton the compressor is a Copeland Scroll 2 stage or 2 speed scroll 220 volts R-22 refrigerant .I have seen some compressor new from $ 300.00 to $500.00.My question is do I have to get the exact model or I can get away with a 5 ton Copeland Scroll 2 stage or 2 speed 220 volts R-22 refrigerant the specs are almost the same but the model number is different.
My unit is a Payne Model # PH3ZNA060000AA. The compressor is a Copeland Scroll Model # ZRS52K4-PFV -130.
Can you please let me know if it is wroth it fixing the unit.Thank you

Threads split/combined. Two threads running on the same topic is extremely confusing.
Keep the Payne stuff in here and the Goodman in the other thread.
