Need suggestions on a portable AC unit for bedroom

My master bedroom has 3 exterior walls and therefore is always cooler in winter and warmer in summer than the rest of my house (central heat/ac). I'm thinking a portable free standing AC (vented) unit would fit the bill. I would appreciate any advice on specifics about venting or suggested brands. Thank you!

A window unit would be the least expensive. If you want a portable air conditioner I would ONLY consider those that have two hoses. The single hose models, while less expensive just don't work.

Most lower cost ones and ones at Bigbox will be single tube. Do not get a single tube unit. They are inefficient and don't cool well because they exhaust already cooled air out through the single tube to cool the condenser. On the other hand the two tube use the second tube to bring in outside air to cool the condenser.

Hi, will you be able to sleep with this running in the room?
I couldn’t.

Looks like I'll go with a window unit. Thanks for the replies!
