Welcome to the forums.

Is this motor designed for the unit you're installing it in ?
Remember there are 120v and 240v motors.
I black and 2 red wires is an odd color combination.

With three wire motors..... there is a run, a common and a start connection. You'll need an ohmmeter to check for the winding resistances.

Start to Common = middle ohms reading..... so for example 10 ohms
Start to Run = highest ohms reading.......... 15 ohms
Common to Run = lowest ohms reading...... 5 ohms

Once you have the three wires labeled they can be landed. Don't forget a capacitor is needed.

I think this motor may have been rewired at some time. Thanks for the info, just what I needed.
