EMC2.3 Help
Hi All,
I have a ClimateMaster 27/TTV049 that stopped working after about eight years. I figured something was wrong with the motor since it would just rock back and forth. The resistance on motor leads were fine so I assumed it was the ECM2.3 controller. I was able to get someone over with an ECM control testing device and he said my ECM was broken. So I decided to change the thermistor to save a buck but that didn't seem to work. Now I would like to purchase a replacement but I'm having difficulty finding one.
Specs:
GE ECM Motors
ECM2.3 CP04 1HP

Can someone recommend a vendor?
Will any brand be ok?
I understand it must be EMC2.3 and 1HP but does the "CP04" matter?
It looks like ECM2.3 is old now. Does that mean I need to purchase a new ECM3? But will that work with my heatpump?
This is a geothermal system and the HVAC people around here get weird about it and charge two arms and four legs.
Any help would be appreciated!
