Mounting a casement style A/C in wall

Mounting a casement style A/C in wall
I would like to install a wall mounted A/C unit in my master bedroom but the space where I would like to install it would need a casement style unit (taller than wide). Is this recommended? I don't see any of these taller-than-wide units listed as "wall" units.

Welcome to the forums.
No..... I don't believe I've ever seen that style of thru the wall mount either.
It's possible that could be wall mounted but one of the biggest problems is the wall thickness blocks or partially blocks the side air vents.

You mean a PTAC unit? Very noisy and energy hogs. Ductless split would be a much better option IMO just for the noise factor.
