Contactor Wires?

Trane TTB036C100A1 I want to change my contactor. The original contactor only has 1 Red Power feed wire. The replacement CTR02574 has 2 (bottom) terminals. Will this work?
( I understand I need to connect the 2 24 volt wires and the other 2 red top wires)

Welcome to the forums.

Although only one set of switching contacts is needed..... I can't remember ever seeing a single pole contactor in a unit. We can see the red wires are being switched. What was done with the black wires ?

The replacement contactor you're going to use is the correct one. The two power wires coming in go on L1 and L2. Keep the red wires on the L1 - T1 side. The T side of the contactor is the wiring going to the compressor and fan. The blue and white 24vAC wires stay on the side of the contactor.

Pete,
Thanks for the response. I am not sure where/what the Black wire is connected to. I can look further tonight when I get home but I would rather not rewire/change it, as it has been like this since new in 1999.
Can I ignore L2 & T2 and connect all others wires as you describe above?

Unit is currently working fine, I just changed the bulging capacitor and thought it would be a good idea to change contactor as well.

Yes... you can just use the L1-T1 switched contact.
