Window a/c repair
Fridgeadaire 6000btu trouble shoot. Power cord checks. Ok. From power cord green ground wire ok. Black wire ok. White wire at P7 connection shows burning on protection plastic for hookup.
A/C does nothingwhile plugged in and green light working on plugin. When disassembling I somehow shorted assembly with P7 connection and a/c made a beeping noise and started rubbing for about 10 seconds but stopped working whenI moved.
Sorry. Model# ffra06l2s10.

Welcome to the forums.
The green light on the plug just means the GFI is ok and set. You need to check the 120v connections for tightness. That's white/P7 and black/L that connects to the relay. A typical problem is bad solder on that relay. You need to unplug the unit and look at the backside of the control board.
