20 yr old Rheem Calssic X Contactor wiring puzzle

Hello All, Model RAKA-018JAZ. The downstairs original contactor unit is burnt and looks like it needs replacing. We had a storm come through and the power pulsed about three times over 30 seconds. So maybe the time delay also.
Just found out my AC guy retired who replace the Contactor on my AC unit for upstairs. It looks like he bypassed the time delay... And used a 2 pole "Packard C220A" Can only find "Packard C230A" is that Okay???
I've attached two pictures, old and newer contactor. If it was a one for one I would not hesitate to replace but the newer replacement Contactors look to be wired different.

Thank you!

Michael

You don’t need any part numbers for a contactor.
Just number of poles, amp rating and coil voltage.
That ones a single pole. Probably around a 30 or 40 amp.

Thanks, The replacement that was used for my single pole was a double pole. I've read many contractor's post that they just use the 2 pole for both. My guy used a Packard C220A Can I use a C230A for my Rheem Classic X? Attache pictures of specs for both. I'm not sure of the Amps are Okay. Thanks!!

Hi, that looks to be 30 amp at 240 volt which should be fine, can you tell what the rating is on the old one.
