HVAC Ductwork Won't Come Apart

Good afternoon everyone. I need to replace some sections of my ductwork and I have unfolded the strips on these pieces but when I tug down to release the slide, none of them will budge. Are these not the slip and drive connections? Does anyone know how I can get these apart without destroying each section? Thanks!

Slip and drive. You’ll need a hammer.

Put a pair of channel locks on it and bend it up 90* from the duct. Hit the channel locks with a mallet/hammer. It’ll drag the drive off the duct.

Once you've done it once it's fairly straightforward. In the video it's show installing the installation of a drive. It comes straight and the tabs at each end are bent over. Straighten both ends and it will come off. What I do is to use a pair of Vise Grips to grab on to the tab and hit the Vise Grips to slide the drive off. If you are very strong... you can actually pull the drive off.
