MrCool advantage PERFORMING EVACUATION using the manifold gauge
I bought MrCool Advantage 18000 BTU
I thought that this is the DIU model but it is not
I did the inside installation, connected the copper tubing inside, drilled wall hole and installed the outside unit.
then I read this section PERFORMING EVACUATION using the manifold gauge and vacuum pump,
I have the picture of the outside unit tubing
The Installation manual does not tell me where is the service port on the outdoor unit’s low pressure valve.
there are two valves on the outside unit the one in the bottom has an additional PORT
It appears from reading that doing the evacuation using the manifold gauge is easy
Is this something has to be done by professional?
When I called to ask a technician to do it they will charge me $275
just for the evacuation

You need to be licensed to perform sealed system repairs and we do not help with that.
You need someone certified to handle the sealed system parts of the job.
