GE In-Wall Air Conditioner Compressor will not turn off
Hi everyone,
I have a GE AC, Model: AJCQ12ACCM1 which the compressor will not turn off. Regardless of turning temp setting all the way up to 85 degrees, switching to fan only, or even powering off....the compressor still stays on. Only way to stop it is to unplug.
Any advice please?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
This is becoming a pretty common problem with electronic controlled A/C's.
If it's what I typically see..... the relay on the control board for the compressor is welded together.
If you're handy..... the relay can be replaced on the control board.
Otherwise the entire control board gets replaced.
The board (control unit) is part # WJ26X10283.
