Arrow Panasonic CS-KS36NKU split A/C circuitry problems

Hi all,

I've been working in a restaurant the past five or so years, and we've had the same ductless A/C system for the entire time. Every day during the summer, it runs on high for 6-8 hours in a hot kitchen, and I think the overworking has finally broken it. When using the self-diagnostics mode, it returned the error code E02 (alarm code P26), which reads, "HIC CIRCUIT TROUBLE, POWER TR CIRCUIT TROUBLE." The possible malfunctions were "(1) HIC OR POWER TR FAILURE (2) O/D FAN NOT OPERATING
(7) COMPRESSOR FAILURE (8) O/D PCB FAILURE." As someone who has never worked in the HVAC industry, I have no idea what this means, but I've found I can get things done if I have a vague idea of what I'm looking at. My question is, how can I fix this? The owner has assumed the control board needs to be replaced and they really don't want to do that, as the unit is discontinued so the boards are expensive. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums.

I'm just passing thru and will be back later. The link below is the pdf service manual.
For now.... download that as it has a lot of servicing info.

[member never returned - service manual download removed]
