Is this a true Variable Speed Air Handler?
Wanted an air handler that ramps up and slows down, and dealer quoted on Rheem system with VSP (Variable Speed) air handler, but noticed model number starts with RH1T, which I see is a Constant Torque model, where Rheem shows it as RH1V. Dealer says motor in air handler is a variable speed motor. How do I tell if I got what I thought I was buying? Thank you.

All I can suggest is that you read the specs.
Torque and speed are two different things.
Speed is how fast it turns.
Torque is with how much force does it turn.
