Help A/C in my house is not working
So my a/c in my house is not working.it blows air out the vents and turns on inside and with the thermostat but the outside unit doesnt turn on.i noticed 2 wires they look like they are coming from my outside a/c unit to some other wires that are colored underneath my house which look cut from my dog digging.could that be the issue?

It's very possible the cut wires are the problem. When the thermostat calls for cooling, it sends 24VAC from the house to the outside unit via a 2 conductor cable. If that cable gets cut, the outside unit won't get the 24VAC "control voltage", which tells the outside unit to turn on. If you have a voltmeter, you could check the wires coming from the house (at the cut). There should be 24VAC between the two wires if the thermostat is calling for cooling, and 0VAC if not calling for cooling.
