Delonghi Pac Cn120e portable Ac not blowing exhaust
First post on website, i apolgize for any mistakes made.
I recently bought a Delonghi Pac Cn120e portable Ac unit.
It works fine for a few minutes after start, and there will be a loud thump and then the machine blows hot air for a minute or so. After it starts blowing hot air, it will gradually cool down to cold again, before repeating the pattern shortly after.
it does not seem to be blowing almost any echaust from the back of the unit, i can hold my hand to the exhaust fan and feel almost nothing.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback for things to try, and thank you in advance for checking my post.

It sounds like your unit is not moving air past the condenser coil which will cause the compressor to overheat and trip the compressor pressure switch or overheat sensor.
The upstream surface of the condenser coil could be covered with dust or the fan is not operating.
You would need to gain access to the inside of the unit to see what is going on.

I have opened the case, and from what i can see while it is on the wheel fan is not moving, which is why not exhaust is getting blown out
I also vacuumed as much dust off as i could from both casung and components

It looks like there are two fan motors.
One blows the cold air into the room and the other one is the hot air discharge.
Assuming you are getting airflow from the front of the unit you need to look at the condenser fan motor.
I believe the motor we are looking at is pictorial # 14.
It looks like it's two wires..... red and blue.
All the motor wiring will connect at the control board. Pictorial # 19.
You can remove the red and blue from the board and check for continuity using an ohmmeter. Any meter indication would indicate the motor is ok.
If the motor shows as ok.... reconnect it to the board and then you'll need to check those two terminals for 120vAC. It may be a little tricky working on the unit apart. They aren't made particularly user serviceable.
I couldn't find a service manual so I've been using an exploded parts view in the following link.

I might add that although we ecourage DIY you need to be motivated enough to first learn how to use a test light, voltmeter or multimeter and do so safely.
If you are prepared to see this through on your own you would first need to be familiar with test equipment and basic electrical testing..
