A/C not blowing steady
Hey everyone,
I just bought and moved into my first house. And the AC blower doesn't blow a steady amount of air. It blows hard, then slower, then hard again, over and over. I have a 2 story and can hear the bower more up there, but the air downstairs is also blowing at a variable amount of pressure, though not as bad as the upstairs.
Is this something I should be concerned about or get fixed?
Thank you for your help!

Welcome to the forums.
Yes.... you should be concerned and have it checked.
It sounds like an ECM (electronic controlled motor) with a problem.
To comment further I'd need the full model number off the air handler.

That looks to be a Bryant CK3BXA048021AAAA.
Manufactured September 2005
It does use a GE genteq electronic motor.
The blower will require servicing. It is fairly expensive to service. Get estimate first.

Thank you for the reply and help. Sorry if this would of been good info before hand. Attached to the box behind where I got that pic, it says carrier in a few places, would it be a different company's coil attached the air handler?
