Paint for AC registers

I have several registers in the ceiling that have rust spots on them. This was from a condensation problem that has been corrected. What kind of paint would you recommend for painting over these rust spots?

I'd scuff them up and use a rattle can of paint. As long as the rust is dealt with, they are relatively clean along with any shiny paint scuffed up most any paint will work.

I kind of thought that, but wanted a second opinion. Thank you!

I hit them with a wire brush to remove the rust. Wash them to get rid of the dust. Then when they've dried I use any aerosol can that's the right color.

My go to paint for vents and grilles is Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy. Just be sure you follow the label directions exactly.
