Guardian AC copper/aluminum refrigerant leak.

I own Guardian AC Model RAC13J604S21A, Guardian ser. W1D4592927.
The AC Condenser failed and leaked all the refrigerant out of the system due to the connector that ties the copper tubing to the aluminum condenser. The connector looks to be some type of a shrink tube. I was told this was under warranty and not repairable. I really need to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Welcome to the forums.

Guardian is a York built product.
W1D4592927 = date of mfg....... 1D4 = D14 = April 2014

Your unit has a 10 year parts warranty.
So without a bill of sale or an online registration.... your parts warranty is valid until April 2024.
The condenser itself is under warranty. The labor to replace including refrigerant is not included.

You need to schedule with your HVAC company.
What else did you want to know ?

Thank you for your information when I contacted Guardian they told me I had no warranty. Since I have purchased a new AC Condenser and it was not a Guardian.

I'm fairly certain I found a ten year warranty on Guardian but that may have been five on the unit and ten on just the compressor. Can't find it again.

Glad you're back in operation.

I appreciate all your help I did contact Guardian and they said it was 5 years on parts and 10 on the compressor. I would not recommend Guardian AC Units to anyone after their response to the failure of the unit after the connector they used to connect the aluminum condenser to the copper line.
I did buy a replacement unit and we have cold air now.
Thank you,
