Do thru the wall AC units require a sleeve ?
Do thru the wall AC units in a ground floor frame building require a sleeve or can the installer build a frame around the AC unit ?

A thru the wall A/C comes with it's own sleeve.
A sleeve needs to be installed so that you can slide the unit out for service too.
