Reconnecting AC fan to capacitor

I had removed the top panel to my carrier AC unit in order to clean the coils. Looks like I accidentally disconnected the fan from the capacitor in the process and hoping someone can help me out with the appropriate way to reconnect the wiring. The capacitor is 3 terms mal. The fan has 3 wires. Black brown and purple. Black is still wired. Purple and brown are my points of confusion here.

3 terminal capacitor. Unsure which terminal receives the brown and which receives the purple

If you're positive both those wires are from the fan... then the third fan wire is going to the contactor.
Connect the purple wire to the red COM terminal.
Connect the brown wire to the FAN terminal.

You will have purple and red on the dual capacitor Common terminal of that American Standard condenser.
Two orange wires on Herm and a single brown wire on Fan.
