Blower fan not staying on

I went out of town for Memorial Day weekend, and returned to an iced over A coil and ac lines. Thawed it out, and the condenser would turn out, but not the blower fan. Determined the control board was fried, and replaced it.

Now the fan will run for about 30 seconds and then shut off when the thermostat is set to Cool and the fan is set to either on or auto. If the thermostat is set to off with the fan set to on, the fan runs continuously.

Any ideas?

I also ran the internal component test, and everything seems to function as it should for the test.

Is new control board same as old control board? Could be fan and t'stat switch voltage settings are interpreted differently in new control board.

Welcome to the forums.

At first I would say it's a thermostat problem.
Is it a nest ? That could explain it.

What is the thermostat model.
Furnace/air handler model would be helpful.
