Rotating Tires

I have a Honda Accord Hybrid Sport. I normally rotate my tires every 5, 000 miles. The monitor on the car says the tire rotation is at 40% time. Should I go by this monitor or go ahead and rotate them at 5,000 miles?

Do what you want, rotating more is not going to hurt anything!

While rotating tires might not be critical especially for a newer vehicle, rotating the tires puts eyes on them for any potential wear issues. I normally rotate mine in the neighborhood of the 10k mark for my my jeep and my wife's car [I do my old pickup at 5k] but as noted above, more often doesn't hurt anything.
