what size enclosed space for single toilet?
I've designed my own house plan and one thing I have been wondering is what is the standard size enclosed space you need for a single toilet? I have it on my plan as 5' by 3'. I got this by taking measurements in my own bathroom and just figuring that 5' by 3' should be plenty. It's for a master bath toilet we want behind a closed door.....

There are minimum requirements for all plumbing fixtures and this falls under that.
Codes vary in these with some requiring more room than others. Minimum side to side is 30", meaning 15" from center line of drain. 60" deep is also required. (these are under IPC)
Your current area is large enough.
