preserving flowers

Hi. I would like to preserve flowers in oil, like the perfumes that have a real flower floating in the liquid. I have glycerine oil and a small glass bottle to float he flower in, but I don`t know how to do it. I would apprecite the advice,

Shalom to you too, DIYaddict, and thanks for the welcome. I used the info you gave me and off I go to preserve my orchids. Thanks so much for helping. I`ll let you know. The site said that it takes about 2 weeks.
