mounting posters

Hope I have logged into the right department, so enjoy all the various groups this site offers. I had a number of 20x30 posters which I placed loose into a picture frame and secured with a foam board back and over the years they have curled somewhat. I would like to take each a part and use something or do some procedure that can secure the poster to the back board so it will remain flat and not ruin the poster. Any ideas. I have heard of dry mounting but no sure what this is.

There's another way to do it by using a foam board with adhesive. This is permanent as well, but you can do it at home. It's like peel and stick. There are types that can be repositioned but then permanent after 24 hours.
