i have orange and lemon trees and i want to dry fruit slices for crafting and decorating. i don't have a dehydrator. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

in tucson, you should be able to dry them outside, slice thin about 3/16th in thick and place on screens flate for about 48 hrs, check them for dry by lightly bending, or use a oven set at the lowest temp for 12 to 24 hrs. with a cookie sheet under them. a metal grate like used for fish can help to keep them from sticking in the oven.

life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies
