Bamboo over ceramic tile?

I am considering putting bamboo floors down. I hear that a cement floor is the ideal sub-floor to install over. However, I have ceramic tile throughout and have heard horror stories of getting the tile up. Anyway, is it at all possible to put bamboo over ceramic tile? If so, how?? And would you glue down or float?
THANKS!!
NICK

If the moisture vapor emissions are in check, and the tiles are securely down, without high lipped edges, you can emboss the grout joints and glue right over the tiles.

Bamboo ovewr ceramic tile too!

Carpets done wright - I also have the same situation. The tiles were put down only 3 years ago and are flat. When you say if the moisture vapors are in check what figure is good? Also - what does embossing the grout mean? I'm assuming sealing it.
A flooring company here said I could just glue the solid bamboo flooring directly down since the planks were at most - 3'-0" in length.
Are there any other precautions for this application?
Thanks in advance!
