subflooring

I'm remodling my bathroom and I am replacing the subfloor. I removed the old subfloor. Do I need to place the new subfloor under the wall framing member? The old subfloor was under it, but is seems secure without the old subfloor and I want to know if I can install the new subfloor adjacent to the wall frame rather than under it. Thanks for your help.

Yes you can. Shouldnt be a problem as your finished floor (depending on what that will be)..will be laid up to the walls.
All of the reno's Ive been involved in, after we've pulled the old subfloor, we lay the new subfloor up to walls.
