Natural floors from LOWES

Natural floors from LOWES
OK, I have been debating on what type of floor to put down for awhile, and my wife is ready to kill me.
Never again, will I have carpet in my dining room, so I ripped it all out, pulled up the tack, patched and painted the walls, but now I sit and think which one.
I was going to use a Quick-Step laminate floor, maybe one from the Canyon Stone collection, or a bamboo floor.
I went to Lowes and found some nice looking bamboo from Natural Floors (I think ) is the manufacturere.
Does anyone here have any experience with this floor?
The cost of both floors is about the same. Are there better Bamboo floors available. I do have kids and a lil Chihuahua, who adds no wear into the factor at all.
Thanks for the advice if you have any.

No pro, nor do I know anything about what you wanted specifically, BUT...I thought these articles would be great for you as when you consider bamboo floors, especially since you mention kids and a dog
...
Strength and Durability - Bamboo is the perfect choice for a highly durable, strong floor that can stand up to the use and abuse that animals and children can deliver. It can even resist the drop of a pan in the kitchen as well as high traffic areas such as living rooms and hallways. (Straight from the 2nd article below)

I have dealt with Quick Step laminate (not familiar with the Canyon Stone collection) and Quick Step is pretty easy installation. Holds up well too. Easy to keep up. I've dropped tools and other objects on the floor and not a scratch or dent (not yet at least

Excellent! Glad you made a decision
...good thinking on getting samples. I did the same thing, except I got 1 sample 1 time as was quite thrilled overall.
Have fun with the installation.

Well i just thought I would come back and show a before and after photo. I still have to put up the new baseboard.
As you can see, new paint, new table and chairs, curtains and a new floor make a major difference.
We used Canyon Stone California Gold from Quick-Step. I like it alot.
