Sani-Tred

So I have this continual leaking basement problem in two sections, which I'm slowing making progress with.

I've come across this product by Sani-Tred that seems like a very expensive alternative to concrete repair and Drylok paint. They swear it's much more than that an guarantee it can waterproof anything.

Anyone have experience with this or heard anything about it. My mind tells me "no way" since hydro-static pressure, as I'm finding out, has a way of getting water into the basement.

Thanks

I own a house that was built in 1940. It had major cracks in the basement walls not to mention poorly poured concrete that leeked like a seive. Anytime it rained the basement would flood with 6 inches to 2 ft of water. I purchased Sani-Tred back in Sept and painted all the interior walls of my basement. The first rain came and went in No CA last week and not a drop. I'd say it worked.
This is not a paint. It's liquid rubber. Imagine a cross between motor oil and salt water taffy. It is very thick stuff. There is no way water is getting thru it once it is painted on.
I am an avid supporter and tell everyone I can about Sani-Tred.

As far as price. I spent $900 to paint the walls of a 1600 sq ft basement. Trenching and french drains were estimated at $7,000 to $10,000. And the 3 contractors I spoke to said I still would have water, just not as much. The only alternative was to excavate the entire foundation and put up a plastic barrier and a tar or neoprene paint. estimated at $15,000. And even then they said I would still get water seepage where the wall meets the floor. They said nothing could stop that. Guess what Sani-Tred did. Sani-Tred works from the inside not the outside.
