Cool

I have a small bathroom, (5'X10 I want6 to remodel. The walls outside the tube area are tiled (ceramic) 1/2 up. The tub area is completely tiled up to the ceileling. The area around the facet has the tile falling down. I want to take down all the walls and put up new ones. Also I want to put in a liner for the tub area instead of the tiling. I thought I would start with the tub area and remove the walls, put in new fixtures and the liner. Does this make sense? How easy is the liner to put in? I have little experience at home repairs, but I am learning!!!

Tub liners are not easy. You may not know it, but in your job you have all of the nightmares of bathroom remodeling. The problem with a DIY bathroom job, is that once you start especially around the tub, you cannot shower with exposed walls. This job would take a pro about 2.5 days. It will take an amateur about 5 days. Have plan B in place before beginning.
