Question

I am trying to find solutions to cover the lolly columns in my basement. Is there a product that is made to fit around them? I was told that there is a wooden type wrap, glued on to the columns....

Well, I don't know about the wraps, but I just framed around mine. I put an outlet on two of the four sides. I've used one the outlets several times already. You never have enough outlets.

I've seen wood style wraps that go around lolly columns. They consist of thin strips of wood that run the length of the column and are attached to a backing. Just cut to the proper length and wrap the pole with it. I have seen it advertised in Handyman Magazine. Another method I've seen is to take large diameter rope (1") and tightly wrap the pole. I'm not sure how it was attached at the top or bottom. This gives a nautical theme

You could get bevelled strips of wood, and
stave them together like a barrel.
