Ugh again! My basement was partially finished when I purchased the house I live in. It had suspended ceiling tracks all strung up for us as well as a few (about 5 or 6) T-tracks. I just measured out the width from one main beam to the next, and found it to be smaller than the size of my T-tracks. (Can't remember exact measurements.) Am I going to have to use a hacksaw to cut all 8 of the remaining T-tracks that I need to put up? Is there a simpler way? Thanks..!

Pamerly -- generally speaking T-Bar ceilings are installed on a 2ft. X 4ft. grid. Since most rooms are not built in increments of 2 ft. and 4ft., (and even fewer are built perfectly square!), yes, there is some cutting involved when you get to the walls. A bigger consideration is getting the ceiling level. Most folks don't own tools like laser or transit levels. Depending on how good (or poor) of a job was done installing the portion of the ceiling that is there, and what sort of tools you have in your arsenal, it may be more cost effective to call in a contractor who installs T-Bars to finish the job. It won't cost anything to get a couple of estimates and, after listening to their opinions, decide whether to finish it yourself or hire it done.
