concrete floor cracking!!!!HELP !

Basement concrete floor has a LARGE crack end to end. It is the result of foundation shifting. That problem is fixed, but what can I do about the crack? The crack is about two inches wide and deep!

Can I patch it or will I have to pour a new floor? Lots and any advice needed!!!

You can patch your crack. Go to your local home improvement store, and get some materail called concrete crack sealer. Kind of expensive, $20.00, but will work. Just follow the directions.

attic vents

On my house there are two vents (one in front of the house and one in the back) on is fully intact and the other looks as though an animal had pulled the metal apart to make a home in my attic. I'm not even sure that it's called a vent but now in the middle of the night I can hear things crawling above me. I try to take a broom to scare what ever it is and it just scratched at the ceiling. My first question is who do I call to repair this and is it something that I could do. Thank you.

i recently noticed that all of my cold water pipes in the basement are sweating a lot and dripping. i also have found condensation around that edge of a french drain. i have been running a dehumidifier non-stop, but doesn't seem to be doing anything. is there some way to correct these problems?
