Question

We are having an addition put on our home. Due to excessive amounts of snow and rain this year, a lot of water/moisture built up in the crawlspace of the addition prior to getting the roof on. We're now faced with mildew/mold growing on the wooden floor joists (GPI 40 joists). We've gotten rid of the water, but now we still have the mildew/mold. I know bleach or vinegar will kill the mold on the floors and walls, but am concerned that they may be too harsh for the I-joists. Is there something else that can be used on these, or would the bleach be OK? Any help would be great! Thank you.

Bleach and vinagar will not hurt these joists. Crawl under there and get it on. Good Luck
