Major mildew
#1

We're building a log home on a concrete block crawl space (4-5 feet high). The floor is sand and we tiled and put in a perforated day drain. And there are small window vents on each wall. We used I-beams for the main floor supports.Due to the heavy rains earlier before our roof was on, the subfloor has been drenched. It will be replaced. But the immediate problem is drying the I-beams. They're covered in mildew & mold & are very damp. How do we prevent them from any further damage?? Do we rinse in bleach solution first? Do we put in forced air heaters? Do we get a large fan & circulate the air to dry it- then bleach it? Help!!
