Pocket doors

I appreciate all the advice I get in this forum. Another question; Can anyone give me information, or point me in the right direction, to find out about installing pocket doors. Installing two of these doors will save my floor space and solve a couple of problems for me. Thank you,

The easiest way for pocket doors for DIY'ers
is to buy a pocket door kit. It has the doors, the hardware, etc. Remember, if you want pocket doors, you must take out at least one side of the wall on each side of your doorway in order to install it. Watch for electrical, and make sure your not working with a bearing wall. If it is a bearing wall you will have to upgrade the header for the full width of the doors. It is alot easier to install pocket doors when building, then to put them in later. Good Luck
