Basement Half-Wall

What's my best bet for building (securing) a half wall in my basement (concrete floor)?

Half walls can be secured by using a Hilti, powdered charged masonry nail application through your concrete floor. These secure quite well your half walls. If unable to get or to use this, you can use mechanical fasteners like rawl bolts (spikes). Pre-drill hole in concrete to required depth of rawl bolt (spikes) and then drill hole through your half wall bottom plate. Use large flat washers and apply nut. It's done.
