furnace relo

I'd like to relocate my electric forced air furnace (heat pump) approx. 14' or so in line with existing main supply and return lines to open up the basement. It's right smack in the middle of basement now. I would be moving further away from compressor. House is a typical colonial style. This sounds do-able, does anyone foresee any problems with this? Thanks.

stooge,

I would suggest that this question be posted in the Repair Forum under HVAC, I'm sure that they can answer this for you or call your local HVAC dealer for advice.

Good Luck!

Move A furnace and AC

First off If you are not EPA for AC you cant work on it ..........
Then can you rework the duct work yourself???????
There are a lot of ifs ifs ifs here Get a hvac to look at it and give you a bid on it. Get 3 bids Could be you will have to get new ref lines to the O/D unit ED
