level floor

I am planning to remodel the basement in a 100 year old house and I am wondering how important it is that my floor is level. The concrete floor currently drops about 3 inches over the 25' width of the house. This doesn't particularly bother me, but I don't know if there are other issues beyond asthetic issues that I am not considering. I am considering using dricore subfloor with carpet on top. I am also considering using no subfloor and instead just a basement sealer with carpet on top of that.

Are there any problems that can arise from an unlevel floor?

Any comments are appreciated

That is a rather negligible slope for a floor that should always have provisions for drainage, just in case.
