basement framing question
#1

Hello,
I am putting a room in the basement and want o have a 2 foot by 5.5 foot closet in it.
I am right now in the framing more. Do I just frame it as the part of the room framing like with 2x4 I mean three additional walls then drywall it and then install a bifold door in front of it.
Won't it take away lot of space or is it the right way.
Also I will be needing to make room for all the studs needed for installing bifold door later.
Please shed some professional light.
Thanks,

msingla,
Since this is a closet, you don't have to go to the extremes on these walls but you will and should keep room to install your bifold and jamb if you are using a jamb or just applying drywall over the studs.
Good Luck!
