How can you keep the attic fan pulley from slipping every year?? Any suggestions?? Thanks Lou

I think this comes down to two possible problems:
1) Is there a tensioner, or bolt that lets you more the motor, as it sounds like you have an indirect drive?
2) What shape is the belt or chain in?
Replacing or fixing a tensioner, or bolts that hold it in place may do the trick, or replacing the belt and cleaning the groove it goes into also may.
If this all applies and none is feasable or none works, you may have to consider a replacement for the unit.
If it is a belt drive, do not use belt dressing, as this is only a quick fix and I think you are looking more long term.
