crawlspace siding options
#1

I started out with a small leak under a crawlspace that extends about 10 feet off the back of my house. (The rest of the house has a basement). There was aluminum siding (like that of old trailers) so I decided this was as good a time as any to pull is all off and replace it. I cannot afford to finish is with brick, which is used on the basement portion of the house. Is it reasonable to use siding similar to the rest of the exterior? I am looking for suggestions or resources for finding options. Also, there is an abundance of raccoon debris. It seems they dug their way under the deck into the crawlspace. Anyway to prevent this? Thanks in advance for any input.

sumprojects,
Your siding approach is to do what you like...nothing with going the same on the home.
The racoon issue is a little different. You could place a wire mesh to prevent them from getting in there but you will need to cover it up. Do a web search on ideas to keep them away...repellants might be available for this.
Good Luck!
