Hi im 15 years old and i want to finish my basement so i can have LANS down there for the summer! My dad and i dont know anything about how to do it. If we get a book and materials do you think we could do it? ALl we want is one 15x15 room with carpet walls and like 6 electrical outlet slots. I started out with a small leak under a crawlspace that extends about 10 feet off the back of my house. (The rest of the house has a basement). There was aluminum siding (like that of old trailers) so I decided this was as good a time as any to pull is all off and replace it. I cannot afford to finish is with brick, which is used on the basement portion of the house. Is it reasonable to use siding similar to the rest of the exterior? I am looking for suggestions or resources for finding options. Also, there is an abundance of raccoon debris. It seems they dug their way under the deck into the crawlspace. Anyway to prevent this? Thanks in advance for any input.
