Very small leakage problem
Hello!
I have a house with walk-out unfinished basement. The land around my house slopes down around the sides to the basement door level. We have been hit with very heavy rain for the last 2 months or so, and for the first time I am noticing a small puddle forming under one wall. This area of the wall is underground maybe 4 or 5 feet. Best I can tell is that the water is seeping in through the wall/floor seam. The puddle does not stay for long, and is less than a foot in diameter, but still...what's the best way to proceed? French drain or attempt to use something like concrete repair compound? Thanks!

drain
If you have this walk out basement. I think you should see the drain tile there at the side of the home. Down by the footing. I would dig down there along the basement wall out side and put a drain pipe in if its not there now. Do this on the out side get the water out of there, dont try and patch in side first.
