More attic insulation

Hello all, based on the other questions in this forum I think I am in the right place. I currently have a 30 year old ranch style house in Texas. The attic currently has about 4-6 inches of blown in insulation. It does not look like cellulose but more like that rockwool stuff that is not used any more. I would like to blow in another 6- 8 inches of insulation to help out my airconditioner. My concern is that the attic framing is 24 inches on center not 16 inches. Everything I have read says not to use cellulose in this application. The way the attic was built makes it almost impossible to use conventional pink insulation. There is just no space to lay it in. I can't find the blow in fiberglass insulation locally, so I don't know what to do. Cellulose is the only easily available and cost efficient product I can find. Is the cellulose ok or am I up a creek. Any help or thoughts is appreciated.

I have no idea why it would say that. We do it on remodels all the time, and have done so for years. No problems.
